I had been looking for a computer course to upgrade my skills. Most of my computer work had been done on systems that had been specifically built for my employer, and I had no expertise in performing basic computer tasks such as formatting an email, creating folders, etc. I googled “Computer courses in Smiths Falls” and ALTC came up. It seemed perfect for me!
Ultimately, my goal is to be able to enjoy my computer and be proficient in basic computer literacy. I want to be able to organize my files, create documents and navigate the internet. Prior to this course, I had no idea of he myriad of projects that Office Word makes possible, so now I am looking forward to creating my own cards, decorations, newsletters etc. What a bonus!
In conclusion, I am delighted with my progress at ALTC. I am looking forward to taking other practical, useful courses here (Cellphone Basics will be so useful!) The positive learning environment and the exceptional instructors make everything so easy and comfortable. What a fabulous community resource!
